It’s really a weird feeling that ten days from now will be the first day of August. Can anyone please explain where the hell time goes? March of this year seemed to just drag and last an eternity. After that, time has returned to its incredibly ridiculous pace.
I’m going to try something different here next month. For August, I’m going take a random word and just write about that. I’ll probably include a little blurb about my day-to-day, but I kinda want to do something different. Also, instead of the usual “Day xx” title, I’ll probably use the word about which I’m writing. What do you think? Post in comments here or on Instagram/Facebook. I’m pretty sure people are tired of seeing the title as some random day number, and the header graphic as a tear-off style calendar page, like the ones you see in banks.
Here in Utah now, there still is no statewide mask mandate, though there may as well be one, since nearly all the major retailers require one. One thing that puzzles me is the feeling I get in my mouth after wearing my mask all day at work or in the stores. I’m not sure even how to describe it. It’s a little like cotton-mouth, but at the same time, I feel like I’m breathing through my shirt, even without the mask. I honestly can’t explain the feeling. Maybe it’s strictly a subconscious thing🤷♂️. Perhaps you’d like to share with me your thoughts about this. Again, post in comments or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
