Six months of the year have officially passed. Six more months lay ahead. Let us hope the next six months are much less eventful than the last six were.
We don’t need any more pandemic drama. We don’t need more lockdowns and quarantines. People need to go out and about, doing things and helping boost the economy. The country is being dragged downward at a rapid pace.
Isn’t it ironic that Trump wanted to ban travel into the US from various countries, and now it is other countries that are banning travel to and from the US? Europe is preparing to reopen their borders and only allowing tourists from certain countries. The United States is not one of them. Supposedly, it’s because of the steady (and somewhat exponential) increase in coronavirus cases. Mexico, Canada and the US closed their shared borders back in March, and will stay closed until the middle of July. Pretty much, anyone in the US is stuck here for the time being—at least until the coronavirus subsides somewhat.
Unfortunately, it looks like it’s not subsiding anytime soon. At least that’s what the media wants everyone to believe. I honestly don’t trust any of the media, not even Fox. Every single media outlet has its own agenda, one way or the other. CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, Fox, BBC…all of them practice one form of yellow journalism or another.
